Saab is due to present its formal opposition today (27 October) to plans by administrator Guy Lofalk to end its bankruptcy protection position.
The Vanersborg District Court is due to hear the application with Saab apparently teetering on the edge of exiting voluntary reorganisation, although last-minute talks continued last night in Stockholm with the manufacturer’s proposed Chinese investors.

Chinese manufacturer Youngman confirmed to just-auto yesterday it was meeting Saab in the Swedish capital, although no further concrete details have yet emerged from the discussions.
Saab has previously said as well as contesting Lofalk’s application it would request a continuation of the voluntary reorganisation process.
The automaker also said it would apply at the Court for the replacement of Lofalk as administrator.
Neither Saab or the District Court were immediately available for comment.
