Ford reckons November will be its best hybrid sales month ever with over 6,000 units sold.
It expects a record 11% share of the US electrified vehicle market – an increase of over five times this year. November was the first full month the C-MAX Hybrid and Energi plug-in hybrid plus the Fusion Hybrid were available at dealers and 4,400 sales are projected for these three.

The record beats the previous tally of 5,353 sales achieved in July 2009 – the same month the Car Allowance Rebate System [aka cash for clunkers] was in effect.
Ford claims the new electrified vehicles are helping it beat Toyota in fuel economy in every segment where both compete.
C-MAX Hybrid outsold Toyota Prius v, 3,182 units to 2,769 units in October, according to Ford.
So far, 27% of all retail orders for the new Fusion are for the hybrid model.

By GlobalDataThe C-MAX conquest rate is steady at 64%, with Toyota and Honda as the top conquest brands at 11% and 8%, respectively. Among competitive nameplates, Toyota Prius is the top competitive trade-in vehicle, followed by the Honda CR-V.
The number of import conquest buyers is even higher in key coastal markets, up to 15% in Los Angeles. Ford estimates nearly one in four C-MAX Hybrids sold in November will be in California, with Los Angeles as the best-selling region and San Francisco second.
Over half of C-MAX sales are the higher-end SEL trim level.
