New car sales in Hungary fell 10.4% to 158,628 in 2008 according to the Hungarian Association of Vehicle Importers.
LCV sales were slightly down over the year, falling by less than 1% to 23,917 units.
Market leader Suzuki saw its sales drop 16.9% to 26,824.
Opel sales slipped 11.4% to 17,650 units.
