The diversified group was forced to shut down operations due to the ongoing slowdown both in the domestic and overseas auto markets, it told Reuters.


It was the second time Kesoram had shuttered the tyre unit after previously stopping production from 17 to 13 December.


Production would resume from February but only for 13 days each month till 31 March, the report added.
