Skoda has reportedly assembled the first unit of its new Yeti small SUV at the Kvasiny plant, eastern Bohemia.
 
Czech news website ekonom.ihned.cz reported that the news, citing Skoda suppliers as source.
 
The first Yeti to come off the line can be considered as a milestone in pilot production, the car apparently well on schedule.
 
The report said that the Yeti won’t go into series production until the second half of the year and it will be shown at the Frankfurt Show prior to market launch across Europe.
 
The small Yeti SUV will be manufactured in planned volume of 55,000 units a year.
 
Previously, it was reported that the Yeti was planned for rollout at Geneva followed by a May market launch.
