Japan’s Hashimoto Forming and France’s Aries Industries will jointly
begin procuring parts and materials later this year.

Nissan has ordered exterior parts for the new March/Micra/Clio produced in
Japan and Europe from Hashimoto.

In Europe, the two companies are scheduled to supply mouldings and radiator
grilles to Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK for the Micra.

Hashimoto plans to use the Aries distribution network, allowing it to take
advantage of the French company’s close ties with Renault in order to cut
costs.

Last December, Hashimoto and Aries announced a joint venture to develop and
produce exterior resin parts for vehicles that would enable both companies to
better integrate with Renault and Nissan’s global strategy.
