Automotive Systems and Japan’s Ashimori Industry Co. have agreed to jointly
seek airbag business worldwide.
According to AutoAsia Online.com, this agreement comes only five months after
Delphi announced a joint venture with Ashimori for seat belt production.

“This agreement opens new markets for both our companies,” said James
Bertrand, vice president of Delphi Automotive Systems and president of Delphi
Interior Systems.
Shigeo Ashimori, chairman of Ashimori Industry said: “We are very pleased

and Ashimori.”
