Metalsa, which produces chassis frames for trucks, could invest up to US$100m while Fuyao Group, an auto glass maker, could spend $1bn.
The region was currently in talks with six auto components producers over setting up production in the region, Zalivatsky said, adding that the local government planned to sign agreements worth $150m with auto components producers by the end of March.
Auto components producers such as Peugeot-Citroen [Faurecia], Gestamp, and Magna have already invested $400m there, he said.
Total auto production investments in Kaluga are planned at over $2bn in 2010, Zalivatsky said.
