Fiat subsidiary
Delfo Polska is to cut 23 percent of its workforce, or 310 workers, blaming a
radical drop in orders from its main client Fiat Auto Poland.

The job losses would take place at both of the company’s plants in southern
Poland. The redundancies are due to start in May.

This latest announcement follows Fiat Auto Poland’s axing of 750 workers
last month.

In response to a 28 percent drop in sales, Fiat Auto Poland cut back production
by 15 percent last year.
