The US National Highway Traffic Safety Agency (NHTSA) has received complains from 10 drivers of Toyota vehicles who claimed they experienced sudden unintended acceleration problems after their vehicles were fixed either in recalls or voluntary repairs.

The fresh finding has prompted a probe into the matter, the safety regulator told Reuters.

NHTSA chief David Strickland said: ”If Toyota owners are still experiencing sudden acceleration incidents after taking their cars to the dealership, we want to know about it.”

Toyota has been recalling its vehicles over sudden unintended acceleration problems and has already finished repairs on over 1m.
