Car prices dropped last month, according to a survey by the UK's Alliance and Leicester building society. The average cost of a new vehicle dropped 9.4 per cent in January. Executive car ranges saw the biggest decline, averaging over 16 percent, people carriers dropped 14.8 percent, followed by 'city' cars (12.6 percent).
