Sweden’s
Volvo has announced that its new S60 model will enter the Chinese market in
April 2001, according to a report in the Zhongguo Shang Bao (Business Daily)
newspaper.
Citing a Volvo China spokesperson, the report says that the new S60 will be
priced between 600,000 renminbi (US$72,464) and Rmb 700,000 (US$84,541).

The Volvo S60 model is available with five types of gasoline engine, ranging
from 140 to 250 horsepower.
