According to a statement released to local press, the appointment was made jointly by BMW Brilliance’s co-owners BMW AG and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings.
Alfred Rupp, the incumbent president and CEO of BMW Brilliance, has been transferred to BMW’s Regensburg plant for another position, the statement said.
Kastner has worked with BMW Group for 11 years, including leading finance positions in both Germany and the UK.
