Spyker Cars is mulling the use of Saab dealerships as it looks to establish a global footprint.

The Dutch company said it would evaluate collaborating with its newly-purchased Swedish operation, although was unable to give a precise timetable for the transition.

“Of course Spyker is considering using Saab dealers but obviously that is on a case by case basis,” a Spyker spokesman told just-auto.

“There are no numbers at this stage – it is too early. There are people [dealers] putting themselves forward and people being put forward. It is something being considered, it is global.”

Spyker added various distributors in key markets were being evaluated in key markets, such as the UK, Germany, the Far East and the US.

Last week Spyker CEO Victor Muller indicated he would look for a London listing with the potential to delist from the Amsterdam stock exchange, although an Amsterdam-Stockholm dual listing was the most likely scenario for the time being.
