Kevin English
Covisint’s board of directors today named Kevin English, 48, an e-commerce leader with an investment banking firm and a respected pioneer of Internet communications, as chairman, president and chief executive officer.

English was previously the managing director and chief executive officer, e-commerce, for Credit Suisse First Boston, one of the world’s largest investment banking firms. While there, he created a web-based business that delivered Wall Street products and services to affluent investors.


Prior to his association with Credit Suisse First Boston, which began in 1999, he was the chairman and CEO for TheStreet.com, a publicly traded Internet information hub for financial market news and analysis. He also had been vice president and general manager of Nexis Enterprise Group, and served in a variety of assignments with the parent company, Reed Elsevier PLC, including vice president of sales and marketing for Lexis-Nexis.


English has more than two decades of senior executive management experience with technology companies such as Computervision Corporation, Aries Technology, Jupiter Technology, Control Data and Xerox Corporation.


He is a graduate of Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
