“We anticipate significant revenue growth in 2010.”

Daimler sold 496,500 vehicles in the quarter, up 27% year on year. Q2 revenue rose 28% from EUR19.6bn to EUR25.1bn this year.

Mercedes-Benz Cars unit sales rose 19% to a record 342,500 vehicles while truck sales were up 55% to 83,800.

Of note were Indonesia (+130%), the US (+44%), Brazil (+50%) and Europe (+39%).
