Revenue rose 17.9% to JPY 2,361.4bn as vehicle sales rises offset adverse currency effects.
Net income was JPY 272.4bn, up JPY 264.9bn year on year.
Car sales rose 17.4% to 899,000 units as sales rose in Asia, North America and Japan.
The company has revised its full year forecast versus those announced on 28 April and now expects sales of JPY9.1bn (-2.6%), operating income of JPY450bn (+12.5%), and net income of JPY455bn (+33.8%).
It also revised its auto unit sales forecast up 0.7% to 3.64m units.
