Honda Motor on Friday said it sold 56,688 cars in China in July, up 11.9% year on year. Year to date sales were up 20.3% to 366,263.

Toyota sales were up 1% to 64,000 last month and 23% to 427,000 YTD. GM volume rose 22.2% to 176,645 in July and 44.5% to 1,385,786 for 2010 so far.
