Production of a new version of the cee’d has helped increase the daily output of the plant to over 800 cars.
The summer break also enabled the company to undertake preparations for the planned production of the Hyundai ix35, which will be the third model to be produced in the plant (the other two are cee’d and Sportage).
Commercial production of the new Hyundai ix35 starts at the beginning of 2010.
Slovakian sources say the plant is currently hiring new employees for the production of engines.
