“Our partner in Israel is Better Place and and it opened a test centre a few weeks ago,” a Renault spokesman in Paris told just-auto.

“Potential customers who are interested can see how the ZE functions and how to change a battery for example.”

Israeli media are reporting Better Place is to use the period to test the EVs in Israel’s high summer temperatures. Testing could also include ignition and battery replacement systems.

The Fluence ZE will launch in France midway through next year.
