Chinese automaker Anhui Jianghuai Automobile, has announced that it last year appointed Brazilian group SHC to be its sole distributor in Brazil as it enters the market there.

The company aims to sell about 620,000 cars in Brazil between 2010 and 2020. SHC said the first Jianghuai cars will go on sale in Brazil by the end of this year. Sales are expected to reach 35,000 units in 2011 and 50,000 units in 2012.

It will face Chinese competitors such as Chery Automobile and Changan Automobile in the South American market.
