Data released by the Union of Car Importers says that 1,812 new cars were sold in Bulgaria in August.


A total of 18,493 new cars were sold in Bulgaria in the first eight months of 2009 compared to 37,003 in the same period of 2008.


Toyota leads the market with 243 vehicles sold in August and 2,058 sin the first eight months.
