Sources in France indicated to just-auto it was true 40% of Renault’s sales are outside Europe and if the trend of product internationalisation continued, this could reach 50% by 2013.
The source also confirmed chief operating officer Patrick Pelata’s comments that production could reach 2.5m this year, up from 2.3m, while European sales might also fall between 7% and 9% this year.
