The market has been boosted by tax breaks for the automotive sector which expired at the end of September.


In the first nine months of the year, passenger car sales rose 15.6 percent to 281,032 units while commercial vehicle sales fell 7.7 percent to 138,176 units.


The tax breaks were introduced in March and extended in June, but the government has said the breaks were not being extended beyond the end of September.
