Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has revised its consolidated forecast for the first half of fiscal 2010 (1 April – 30 September) from the original forecasts announced on 27 April 2010.

A statement from Mitsubishi noted: “Regarding this fiscal year’s first half consolidated results, although the appreciation of the yen has worsened, due to positive factors such as an increase in sales volume and improvements in the profit/loss of affiliates, the previously announced forecast for operating income, ordinary income, and net income for the first half has been revised upward.
