The company is the sixth venture established through the group’s Hyundai-Kia Venture Plaza programme, which supports employees in developing business models, the Korea Herald reported.
The company produces inboard engines for small and medium sized ships and boats. The engines are based on the 2.2- and three-litre diesel engines used in Hyundai and Kia sport utility vehicles.
