PSA Peugeot Citroen wants to boost its market share in Russia to 10% from 3% now, the group’s CEO Philippe Varin told Vedomosti business daily on Monday.

Varin considers Russia, along with Europe, China, and Latin America, a key market for the group, the daily reported.


The group also confirmed plans to launch a plant jointly with Mitsubishi in Russia’s Kaluga in March 2010, the daily reported. The plant’s annual capacity was expected to be 300,000 cars.
