Aston Martin has announced the appointment of Hanno Kirner to its newly-created position of Chief Financial Officer, based at the company’s global headquarters in Gaydon, UK.
Kirner will report to Aston Martin chief executive Ulrich Bez and will form part of the British marque’s executive board of management.

Kirner has extensive experience of the automotive industry, joining Aston Martin from Rolls-Royce where he served as director for finance & IT for the last five years, forming part of the company’s board of directors.
He has also previously held a number of senior roles with BMW Group.
“Hanno brings a broad range of experience at a global level in the luxury automotive industry and I am very pleased to welcome him to Aston Martin,” said Bez.
“Hanno will play a key role in helping us to continue to build and grow a strong, global and independent Aston Martin business in the future.”
