Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has unveiled a net profit of 622m roubles (US$20m) for January-September against a net loss of 19.8bn roubles last year as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), according to reports from Moscow.
Revenue rose to 95.4bn roubles in January-September from 60.8bn roubles a year earlier, while the company posted a gross profit of 5.3bn roubles in the period compared to a gross loss of 2.5bn roubles a year before according to Russian media.

AvtoVAZ sold 367,765 vehicles in the January-September period, a rise of 36.5% on the year.
