DaimlerChrysler has chosen Singapore as the first city in Southeast Asia to
test its new environmentally friendly, fuel cell car, company officials told
Kyoto News.

The ‘Necar 4A’, which uses fuel-cell technology that generates electric
power from hydrogen and emits only water, is expected to be test-driven on Singapore
roads in 2004.
