Guangzhou Automobile Group and its local joint venture partner Gonow Auto plant to invest CNY6bn (US$902m) to increase annual production capacity at Gonow by 67%, media reported.
Reuters said Guangzhou Automobile owns 51% of the joint venture and that Gonow has an annual production capacity of 300,000 pick-up trucks, SUVs, minivans and light trucks.
