Daimler affiliate Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is to start assembly and distribution of trucks in Pakistan with local partner Master Motor Corporation.
The company will launch in Pakistan with the Fuso FV Super Great heavy-duty prime mover (GVW 28 tons) and the FE Canter light-duty truck (GVW 6.5-7.2 tons) exported as completely knocked down (CKD) kits from Japan and assembled locally in Karachi. Master Motor will also distribute the vehicles and develop a sales and service network.
