Visteon
Corporation and Dow Automotive are to jointly develop products for insulated windows,
interior trim parts and body panels to improve interior temperature control efficiency
and reducing interior noise and vehicle weight.

As a test bed, the two companies will develop a system for a production test
vehicle that combine’s Visteon’s knowledge of analytical tools with Dow’s
expertise in insulated windows and (foam-in-place) body insulation. This technology
reduces the amount of power required to heat and cool a vehicle.
