Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft has announced that it has now produced 10m starters at its plant in northeastern Miscolc, Hungary.

Communication manager Zsuzanna Kukaj said that the plant, which has a daily capacity for the production of 15,000 starters, supplies not only European automakers, but also the Australian and US markets.
Bosch runs another plant in Miscolc for electric tools, set up in 2003, thus giving jobs to a total 3,000 in the region.
The electronics components manufacturer currently runs 12 companies in the country, employing 7,000.
