Figures reported by the Ukrainian National News Agency say that in April AvtoVAZ led the market with 17% share.


There were also significant market share figures for Daewoo, Geely, Honda, SsangYong and Seat brands.


The report also said that over 500 Lexus cars were sold.


April results could have been better if more credits were given, the report said. A new credit policy by banks has yet to have its effect on the car sales market, according to AUTO-Consulting analysts.
