The C200 is an urban compact SUV and the first vehicle from the automaker – owned by China’s SAIC – to feature a front-wheel drive platform and monocoque construction.
“It marks a new milestone in SsangYong’s mid- and long-term strategy to strengthen its line-up and increase customer choice,” the company said.
The C200 has a new six-speed manual transmission and 175hp two-litre diesel engine.
Although this platform can be used with front wheel drive, the C200 has full-time four-wheel drive technology for optimal driving performance.
It conforms with Euro V European exhaust emissions regulations.
