Falling demand for new vehicles has already led to a recent series of non-production days at Halewood and at the company’s West Midlands plants of Castle Bromwich and Solihull (Land Rover). Workers won’t lose pay and will be given other tasks to perform.


A Jaguar spokesman told just-auto: “The halt in production is to try to match production to demand.”
