Volvo Car Corporation has named Peter Rask managing director of Volvo Car UK and regional president of UK, Ireland and Iceland from 1 January 2009. He replaces Stuart Kerr who is now regional president.

Rask, with Volvo for 11 years, is currently president of Volvo Cars Switzerland and has previously been vice president global marketing and managing director of the sales companies in Greece and Switzerland.


Peter will report directly to Kerr who will combine his new role with his current UK responsibilities until Rask is in place.  


Kerr headed Volvo Car UK from October 2006 and was previously president of Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation.
