Brazilian
BMW sales increased by 58 percent in the first half of this year, writes Rogério
Louro Alves.

The German automaker sold 968 vehicles compared with 613 in the first half of
2000.

“We expect to sell between 1,700 and 1,800 cars this year”, said BMW
do Brasil president André Mueller Carioba.

Last year, 1,411 cars were sold.
