Output in 2000 grew 4.1% to 122,946 compared with 118,132 in
1999. Production of five-door hatchbacks rose 11.6% to 76,449 from 68,517,
while production of the three-door versions fell 6.3% to 46,497 from 49,615.

The plant, named Revoz dd, is expected to build 119,000-120,000
Clios this year.

It employs 2,200 people with 715 workers on each of two shifts.

Revoz is owned 54% by Renault, 30.28% by IMV Holding doo, 12.68%
by Nova ljubljanska banka dd and 3.04% by the Slovenian state.
