AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 7 (Reuters) – DaimlerChrysler said Monday prices for
its new 2001 minivans will be the same as the 2000 models after adjustments for
extra content that will be included on the new vans.

Prices will range from below $20,000 for standard-wheelbase models to $38,000
for well-equiped Chrysler Town & Country versions. Destination charge is $615.
The minivans are fourth generation products from Chrysler, which created the
segment in the early 1980s, but has seen its market share come under increasing
pressure.
