Chrysler will monitor the quality of a new car being produced by Russia’s GAZ Group, GAZ said on Thursday.

GAZ is producing the new car based on the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Stratus models. In April 2006, GAZ Group signed a deal with Chrysler to buy equipment for the production of the new car as well as production licences, Prime-Tass reported.
GAZ Group plans to launch the new model at a Moscow car show at the end of August.
