Auto production for the period rose 19.6% to 1.06m units, the Associated Press (AP) reported, citing Dow Jones Newswires which obtained the information from an unnamed executive at the Chinese car maker.
The Changchun-based car maker has joint ventures with Volkswagen and Toyota and its listed units include FAW Car, Changchun FAW-Sihuan Automobile and Tianjin FAW Xiali Automobile.
