The new centre will provide full retail credit and funding services for dealers in the southern and eastern regions of the US and allow KMFC to service its dealers more effectively from within the eastern time zone, it said.
Kia’s US vehicle sales and marketing headquarters is in the Los Angeles region in California, three hours behind eastern time.
Michael Buckingham, president and chief executive officer, KMFC, said: “The Kia dealer base is growing and this new facility will enable us to offer even better service and quicker response time for our dealers.”
The facility’s 20,000sq ft includes office and warehouse space and has 23 full-time employees.
Kia Motor Finance Company also provides dealer inventory and facility financing.
