Alexander Yushkevich, chairman of the board of directors of GAZ, told a conference organised by Adam Smith Conferences that no specific decision has been made but that both companies need small diesel engines.
GAZ is also seeking overseas vehicle manufacturing facilities, and is developing its own light truck model called Gazel 2.
