Johnson Controls has begun “exploring various strategic alternatives” for its Bristol Compressor business, the vehicle interiors specialist said in a statement.
The business is part of York International, which Johnson Controls acquired on 9 December.
Bristol Compressors has facilities in Bristol, Virginia, and makes a full line of scroll and reciprocating compressors that are used in air conditioning and heat pump applications.
