One of the well-known suppliers of such devices, Garmin International, on Monday said that Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan is expanding its programme of offering a StreetPilot c320 sat-nav unit with every Ford vehicle purchased before the Chinese Lunar New Year.
The Garmin giveaway program began in November 2005 with just one model, and has now been extended to the end of the Lunar Year across most Ford vehicles sold in Taiwan.
“Ford Lio Ho has been very pleased with the response to our Garmin giveaway – so pleased that we’ve extended the offer to allow more people to take advantage,” said the automaker’s local president Jeffrey Shen.
