It is an ELX1.4 model from the “30 year” series with which the group is celebrating three decades of the Brazilian plant.
The Palio is manufactured in five countries – Brazil (where it was launched), India, China, Turkey and South Africa – and it is marketed in numerous other countries on four continents, including Romania, Croatia, Morocco, Russia, Vietnam, India, Egypt and China.
The 178 family – Palio, Palio Weekend, Siena and Strada –has now sold almost 3.5m units around the world.
