US: BMW to construct new aerodynamic R&D centre in Germany
Tennessee-based Jacobs Engineering Group has announced that one of its subsidiaries has received a contract from BMW to construct and commission their Aerodynamisches Versuchszentrum (AVZ), a new aerodynamic research and development centre in Munich, Germany.
Tennessee-based Jacobs Engineering Group has announced that one of its subsidiaries has received a contract from BMW to construct and commission their Aerodynamisches Versuchszentrum (AVZ), a new aerodynamic research and development centre in Munich, Germany.
Jacobs recently completed the design of the AVZ, which will encompass an aerodynamic model wind tunnel, a full-scale wind tunnel, and a large supporting building, providing BMW with a state-of-the-art technical facility to develop next generation vehicles.
Officials did not disclose the contract value.
