Car and truck sales in Thailand fell 7.3% year on year in May to 55,700 units after an annual fall of 4.6% in April and a 2.15% fall in March, Toyota Motor Corp’s Thai unit said on Thursday.

The report added that domestic car and truck sales reached a record 703,432 in 2005, beating a previous annual high of 626,026 in 2004.
